Barbati is one of the most popular regions on Corfu Island. It is a lovely place with the natural charm of the Greek landscape overlooking the sparkling Ionian Sea and its situated on the northeast part of Corfu, cca 20 km from Corfu town.
Its exactly down the biggest mountain of Corfu Island, Pantokratoras, which gives to this place a different point of view and romantic feeling. There is a main beach, long almost 2 km, stony, and there are also more small hidden beaches after the main one going more North. The main street of this location has some tavernas, bars, bakery, supermarkets and cafeterias. Also by the sea there are many tavernas and caffe.
All the Barbati has amazing views across the bay to Corfu town, as well as catching an eyeful of Albanian coastline. The beach of Barbati has been awarded a Blue flag.
